In some Washington counties, document review by a Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT) is permitted or recommended before filing. Availability depends on the county and case type.

Our services may include:

Assisting with administrative proceedings through the Department of Child Support (DCS)
Helping you prepare for and participate in DCS administrative hearings
Assisting with negotiating child support agreements
Preparing written requests asking the court to consider deviations from the standard child support calculation, when permitted
Providing procedural guidance throughout the process

1. Initiating a Parentage Action
Start a court case to legally establish parentage in Washington.2. Agreed Parentage Actions
If both parents agree, we prepare and file the agreed documents to establish parentage and request a Parenting Plan and Child Support Order.3. Default Parentage Actions
If the other parent doesn’t respond, we help you complete a default process to request parentage, custody, and support orders.If your only goal is to establish paternity for child support purposes, you may also complete that process through the Washington State Division of Child Support (DCS). Please note: DCS can establish parentage, but parenting plans and custody orders must be addressed separately through the court.

If you and your spouse have agreed to separate or divorce — and you’ve already reached agreement on the parenting plan, child support, and how to divide property and debts — we can help draft and file those agreed orders for you. We’ll prepare the required paperwork and guide you through the steps you need to follow under Washington law.
