How We Help Families Navigate the Legal Process

  • We help you understand, prepare, and file the paperwork needed to start or respond to a divorce or legal separation — including parenting plans, child support, and property division — so you can confidently represent yourself in court.

  • We can help you draft a proposed parenting plan and provide limited legal services, including legal advice within our APR 28 LLLT scope of practice, such as explaining what factors the court considers in situations like yours.

  • We can help you establish, modify, or adjust child support orders using Washington’s child support schedule. Our services include preparing and filing the necessary documents, calculating support, and providing legal advice according to APR 28.

  • We can help you with agreed or default major modifications to parenting plans, child support, or other family law orders. Our services include preparing and filing all required documents and providing legal advice within our APR 28 LLLT family-law scope to ensure your proposed changes meet Washington’s legal requirements.

    • We do not provide contested representation or full-service litigation. We assist agreed or default filings only.

  • We assist with agreed or default relocation filings, including preparing and filing the required notice and related documents.

*We do not provide contested representation or full-service litigation. We assist agreed or default filings only.

  • We can help you prepare and file an agreed or default parentage action to legally establish parentage.

Once parentage is established, we can also help you request a Parenting Plan and Child Support Order within the same court action.

This allows both parents to address custody, visitation, and financial support together through the same process.

If your only goal is to establish paternity for child support purposes, you may also complete that process through the Washington State Division of Child Support (DCS). Learn more about DCS parentage options

    Please note:

    • The DCS process only establishes parentage. It does not create a parenting plan or custody order.

  • We assist survivors in preparing and filing requests for domestic violence protection orders .

  • We prepare and file court documents on your behalf, offering guidance and support throughout the process (filing fees not included).

Services are limited to preparation of family law documents, procedural guidance, and related filings as permitted under APR 28 and Regulation 2. I cannot appear in court or provide representation at hearings.
